« on: October 08, 2011, 11:04:32 PM »
Im running the latest version of avast on a windows 7. I want to add some files to the realtime exclusion list, but after I add and save nothing happens, I mean when i reopen the exclusion tab the files im trying to exclude disappear from the list. Like i had never done it. Im already tried reinstalling, running as administrator and nothing.. Can anyone please help me?

Generally, it is not necessary to do anything else. You can select first "Browse" select the path, then "save" it (which means to copy that selected path to the line in the exclusions list, and then click on "add" down the Avast page. Then save the settings (click "OK" on the right lower corner of the settings / exclusions page).

Then try to confirm if the setting was saved by opening again the same specific scan -> settings -> Exclusions.

Disappearing? ??? Weird...
If it is not applying, it's another history, maybe you need to boot.
