Does avast have a auto usb scan feature

Does avast have an autoscan feature? Like if i insert a usb flash drive, will avast autoscan it for virus/spyware? If avast does not have this, is this something i should be concerned about or are there ways to prevent infections on my pc when inserting a usb flash drive [Win 7 HP]. does anyone recommend a usb scanning software?

see File-system shield -> Expert Settings -> Scan when attaching
