[Solved] False Positive on AutoHotkey files/installer
« on: October 13, 2011, 11:59:25 PM »
avast! is alerting on files that are part of AHK (_L version if it matters)

Ahk2Exe.exe <- A wrapper that compiles an AHK script to exe
AutoHotkeySC.bin <- Used by the compiler, IIRC to do with properties.

This is a false positive.

Here are the VT results...
AVs sometimes go mad at AHK, and it is avast's turn.

Odd, i sent both via the chest and the email was a 7z file which contained both files.

Thinkng about it, i may have forgotten to includ the password in the email (it was "false")

I wont be at my pc until later today, so it may be easier to provide the download links to each file:

Code: [Select]
http://www.autohotkey.net/~Lexikos/AutoHotkey_L/
v/AutoHotkey110202_Install.exe
http://www.autohotkey.net/~Lexikos/AutoHotkey_L/
v/AutoHotkey110203_Install.exe
