Hello! I am currently running an Ubuntu 10.04 distribution and I am planning to write a program that will call Avast to scan a file before it processes it. Is there a recommended method of calling Avast from within a C/C++ program? Also, all the links I visit on purchasing Avast for Unix Servers route me right back to downloading it: I can't find a method of obtaining a permanent license, and it took me a bit of effort to even find how to download a 30 day demo license.
