outlook 2010 - POP3 problems

My problem is on outlook 2010 and "leave email on server" pop3
Microsoft Outlook dont receive email (without error messages) after i have checked my email from another client, if i turn off the avast email protection i receive my emails (double).
I have
- BP administration console:
- Client version: 6.0.1324
- S.O. W7 Pro joined to AD

Another issue is about the deploy for client not in AD.

so to be clear

you check your email with a client that is not outlook. Then you go check your mail with outlook with the shield turned on and you dont receive the mail or you do receive the mail but with an error message. And when you turn of the shield you receive the mail twice, which already has been checked with other client?

Do you already receive the mail twice if you have not checked with another client?

It would be nice to have that error message, so we dont have to take a wild gambling guess on what it is :)

In case you dont receive mail in outlook after checking with other client:
did you check the other clients already if they leave a copy on the server?

The deployment to other clients NOT in AD is by email. If this is not your issue then it would be nice to have a description of the problem :)

Thanks for your interest, i don't receive any error message, simply i don't receive any email (now i have the same problem with thunderbird). When i put off the mail protection in avast i receive all the message in server (checked and not checked by any client) it's look like  a reset of the pop3 counter.

To be more clear:
 My other clients are blackberry smartphone, my mail server use dovecot, if i don't leave the mail on server  it's ok (but my blackberry doesn't receive any mail, of course).

Something about the deploy,
 ok the distribution by email but why the clients appear disconnected in the console and i found a lot of error of unauthorized access to server (avast)?
