Translucent effects
« on: November 14, 2004, 11:49:40 PM »
I have unchekced the "Transelucent effects" checkbox (it has always been off really). But all scanning info messages are still transparent (and unreadable). Is there a way to make sure the messages are solid (not transparent)?  I thought that was the "Trancelucent effects" checkbox, but...

I think this option affects the Simple User Interface only.
Check your avast4.ini file for TagOpacity parameter... is it there?

I use the Home edition. That only has the Simple Interface, right? All messages are transparent (mail-scanning, update notice etc). What is the checkbox for then? I'll check the tag (what section is it in).

By "Simple User Interface" I really mean just the skinnable window and its dialogs - not the resident protection part.
The tag would be in [AAVM] section.

Havn't noticed that (but I knew of the thread).

No... just that. I try to continue update it.
At the end (page 4 if I'm not wrong) there is the 'default' avast4.ini file to copy and paste  8)
