Small Business Console ver.1.1.131.7
« on: October 25, 2011, 05:16:07 AM »
Dear AVAST team,

I found that on avast Internet Security Firewall, user can set their Application Rules either to allowed or not allowed for each application connection based on protocol, port or IP Address.

But instead of that i can't found it on Small Business Console, especially for Business Protection Plus users.

My question :
1. Whether AVAST will develop and added this "Application Rules config" feature in the next version of SBC?

2. If not, is that means for each users should set by themselves on their location?

Please kindly advice,

Hi Lukas and Pavel,

Any update about this request?

Since in Indonesia there is a lot of remote office then this feature shall be useful for them.

And useful for SMB or huge total users to manage and config their firewall config from SBC console.

Please kindly update about this matter?

Hi AVAST Team,

Until today, i never got any good respond from your site regarding to my question about firewall config in SBC?

We have another issues regarding to SBC version 1.1.131.7 which is installed on Windows XP SP Professional SP3 for every morning SBC (Avast Administration Console) services should be restarted, if we are not restart the services then Avast Administration console won't detect the installed SBC clients and the status still not connected.

Is is bug on this version for SBC? Or is there any mistaken configuration or is it causes by malware?

Please kindly advice.... ???

That's a bug. :( It's been discovered and solved in our enviroment too. It should be part of next update release that should appear soon.
Quality is also a feature.
