Hi,
The program update 6.0.1289 seems to have been installed even with program update disabled.
The problem is that this version don't work on my computer.
It prevents the system from booting.
This morning all avast services where disabled, I re-enabled them, all was ok.
But later I restarted the computer but it rebooted again and again during the boot.
So I restarted windows in safe mode, having previously problems with avast with version 6.0.1289, I checked the version : 6.0.1289 was installed...
So I uninstalled avast, rebooted then reinstalled it with 6.0.1125.
All is ok now, virus definition 111101-2 installed.
Was there a forced program update ?
Could the daily virus database update force the program update ?
OS : Win XP SP3.
