Possible mail solution

On a hunch I checked my Firewall (Norton) and found that for some reason Ashmaisv had been removed from the allowed programmes.

So after you change the 127.0.0.1 to the normal address's for POP and SMTP, make sure to check the Firewall is allowing Ashmaisv.exe to access the internet.

Once added it worked a charm, and yes I feel a dope for not checking it before. For some reason the upgrade meant my firewall didn't recognise the attempt to go online (I'm guessing that the update uses a different way to connect to the old system).

Hope that helps those others like myself, and saves some head scratching.
