Windows is slow to shut down after Avast update

Well after I updated Avast Pro to latest version.
My windows takes over a minute to shut down.
before the upgrade, it only took 15 seconds.
I have tried closing all programs before shut down and no help
with Avast shut down, my computer shuts down quick again
Please fix this guys.
