welcome to the forum are you getting malware alart from avast from the site?

could it be google redirect virus here again?

do a scan with malwarebytes antimalware as a first step.

http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/

download install, update and do a scan. Don't forget to remove what it finds.

second do a scan with OTL

http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/files/file/398-otl-oldtimers-list-it/

Download OTL to your desktop or other convenient location.
Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed to let it run uninterrupted.
When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
Under the Standard Registry box change it to All.
Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.

When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time, and post it with your next reply.

after you done this our forum malware expert will check the logs and give you further instructions when he has the time.

good luck

Do you have the latest version of OTL as that error was corrected a while back

Download OTL  to your Desktop
  • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
  • Select All Users
  • Under the Custom Scan box paste this in
netsvcs
%SYSTEMDRIVE%\*.exe
/md5start
explorer.exe
winlogon.exe
Userinit.exe
svchost.exe
/md5stop
C:\Windows\assembly\tmp\U\*.* /s
CREATERESTOREPOINT

  • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
    • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
    • Attach both logs

I ran OTL normally. I did not know that option was available in avast. I download OTL to my download folder and drag it the desktop and ran on the desktop.  It than stop scanning at the scanning modcules part.
