Not if you delete the incoming message notification before you forward the e-mail. ;D

The current edit is only for the POP3 portion. (Incoming mail)
If you now select SMTP Tag, you can do the same for the outbound mail. ;D

I was referring to e-mails that I create and send, not e-mails that I forward.  Is it assumed that any file being attached that has a virus or is flagged as having a virus would be detected before the mail is sent?  Obviously this is the desired condition, but isn't it possible that a particular file type would not be scanned when creating the attachments but the e-mail scanner would scan all attachments when the mail is sent?

Is there additional functionality for configuring the e-mail scanning notes in the Pro version?  Because I'm still seeing that the same note format is used for inbound and outbound messages of the same format and classification.  In other words, the same text note is used for inbound and outbound infected messages and the same html note is used for inbound and outbound infected messages.  Does it make a difference that I am using IMAP?

Again, I really want to use the outbound mail scanning functionality to reduce the risk of sending or forwarding infected e-mails.  It looks like I can address some of my concerns by customizing the notes for outbound infected messages.  However it appears that recipients will still see "avast! - INFECTED" in the subject tag regardless of whether the infected attachments were cleaned, deleted or left intact.  Is there a way to customize or suppress that subject tag?

I appreciate all the feedback.

I think we need some intervention from Alwil.
I just tried editing the message in both in and outbound and, apparently there aren't any separate messages. There is only one message which has to be changed in order to distinguish between certifying clean mail for inbound and outbound.
Vlk or any one else from Alwil, Some explanation would be greatly appreciated.
