I wish there was a way to "join" both space in Mozy and avast backup and do not have two engines, two configurations, etc. running side by side.

Seems good product :)

One question, why is there a FAQ named "How do I uninstall the Ask Toolbar?" in avast! Backup section?
I can't see any relation between ask and avast in avast! Backup installation.

---

Seems two bugs:

- "desktop.ini" is created in Startup folder. It opens in notepad every boot.
- Could not uninstall because of this error: "`C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Back up\Data\state.dat` is under exclusive use." or like that.

I install this without trial license and installation is aborted due to that. However, avast! Backup itself is indeed installed. :-\
All this happens in Windows 2000 testing VM.

Strange, this never happened to me with both avast and Mozy installations.

- Could not uninstall because of this error: "`C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Back up\Data\state.dat` is under exclusive use." or like that.
Was a backup running at that time?
My uninstallation worked flawlessly...

Aborting installation is the cause, maybe.
As I said before I didn't have trial license (forgot to get it) so aborted installation when setup prompted to insert license.
However, installation itself seemed already completed and there is an icon in the status bar.

No, backup is not started.

NON, I have to agree with you that the uninstallation process is not working well.
I was changing the license key and now I cannot install avast backup at all :'(
