How to remove avast upgrade infos ?

HI all !

I use avast free.

I don t wan t to see this upgrade alerts in my status page.

what should i do ?

What is the full version number of the avast free do you have, 6.0.1289 is the curent latest version ?

Yes, i am using the latest version.

I have shown in the screenshot. is it not displayed in forum ?

I mean in section in main page of the program : Current staus. where the green secured icon is displayed.

at the bottom of this page, there are always messages about other products of avast, that i don t wan t to see.

i see you havnt gottn any of the popup ad that silder up like a update, or better yet a in your face bitc* of a ad.

i dont mind that one. but the others. just like Avira now.

That ad in the GUI has always been there but i never see it because i have the GUI dragged in to as small as i can make it which hides the ad.

Yeah, like craigb said, re-size the UI and you will never see it.

Do not look to ways to block it please.  The more people that block the UI ad, the more Avast! will look to other ways to make you see their product offerings......like pop-ups.

That has been there since avast5, it is unobtrusive and I probably have my avastUI open more than most as I use it for reference images when helping other users.

But it is never open at the default Summary page once opened I have it A) as small a size as it will go and B) on the Maintenance tab.

The unobtrusive ad is the cost of the free product.

It's all Alwil's fault because they made the Avast GUI so damned attractive. ;D
