avast 4.5 email scanning-certification

I previously used AVG 6. With that system there was a plug-in that paced a note at the foot of both incoming and outgoing mails that the mesage had been checked and found virus-free. Is there a way to place a similar message on at least ooutgoing items?

Sure there is (as is explained in the help/manual) which you obviously haven't read

Click on the blue ball with the "A" in it (next to your clock). This will open the on-access control panel. In the panel click on

If you use OE, Internet Mail or if you use Outlook click on Outlook/Exchange

Than click on customize and set it under the inbound and/or outbound tab as you please.
