Folder.exe
« on: November 20, 2011, 08:40:36 PM »
Using AVAST 6.0.1289, with latest definition updates. Recently I used a flash-drive & some of my hard-disk's folders turned into .exe files, with the same folder name. Can't open them. A pop-up message-box is saying,

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

The sizes of all the .exe files has been 89.5kb. Where the actual folders were a few MBs in size. Please give solution to recover my folders..

Using windows7 ultimate 64-bit, with 8gb DDR2 ram
