Registration issues

I cant seem to get my product registered. Im receiving the error " The AAVM subsystem detected a RPC error". Also when I attempt to start Avast real time shields I get the error " Unable to start the file system shield, Shield unreachable. I would greatly appreciate any insight to fix these errors as I enjoy Avast and have used it on every computer I own.

Huh. Which version of avast are using? 4.8?

I just downloaded it today. I can't check the version number because the power source I got with this laptop over heats( obviously non- related) but it should be the most up to date version. ( free)
