can not trace or get info from fire wall

Avast keeps telling me that to view the trace or get info on my connections i need to install Adobe flash player, When i am prompted to get it Google Chrome (default) tells me 404 page not found,, so I get on my Firefox browser and install it.. but some reason Avast does not find it and tells me again that i need to install it .. Can anyone help?

You need IE's Flash for those Avast! UI elements that are missing.  It is a separate Flash than Firefox's.
