Program version number missing

I can only see definitions version number in the settings. It would be nice to have some sort of info for program version as well. It would help you a lot later when support will be needed so you can check if user is not somehow running an outdated version. Plus it will be easier to follow and track issues if you know when the program has been updated and what has landed in that specific update.

Thanks for the idea, anyway you can see the version of Avast! in Application management for now; I suppose we will have something like "About us" or "Help" item, where this information will be stored.

Actually you could just add program version number to the "Automatic updates" field. Just extend it a bit downwards and add the program version number below the definitions version number.

Right now it's like this:

Automatic updates
Current version: 111206-02 (19 hours ago)

Change it into:

Automatic updates
Definitions: 111206-02 (19 hours ago)
Program: 1.0.205

Or something similar...
