SMS and Call filter
« on: December 07, 2011, 08:13:13 PM »
Am I the only one who can't get SMS and Call filter working? Tried all possible settings, in theory they should work, but filter does not block anything... Or is this option root only?

It should work even if your phone isn't rooted. What phone and android version do you use? How do you use the filter exactly?

Thanks for the feedback.

In my signature: HTC Desire Z, Android 2.3.3, official, no root or mods.

SMS and Call filter settings:
Block incoming: Call
Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr
From 20:00
To 7:00
Group Members: All Unknown Numbers

Now it's We 21:32.

I have one number not saved anywhere on phonebook or in other places, but... My phone rings. If I enter this number into group manually - the same, phone rings. If I choose no groups as I understand it should block all calls? Phone rings...

Interesting. Could you also try the SMS blocking with the same setup?

Thanks.

Would you try to set the time rage from 20:00 to 23:00 i. e.? Will it block the call? I've just tried to set a time rage as you did and I can confirm that it doesn't work. The problem is that your time period actually ends before it starts. I'd say it is a bug. We should interpret such period as 0:00 to 7:00 and 20:00 to 24:00.

It works now. I agree, it's a bug, because if I set range 20:00 - 23:59 it works, if I set it overnight 20:00 - 07:00 - it does not work.
