Forces closed after install of Anti Theft?

When I first installed Avast, it worked fine.  I then installed the Anti-Theft part of the program.  Afterwards, Avast has forced closed.  I can't uninstall the Anti-Theft portion of the program, so I can't verify that the Anti-Theft caused the issue.  Any way to uninstall Anti-theft? Disabling it does not resolve the issue.  I can start Avast back up again after I reboot my phone, but soon after, it will force close again.  Thanks for any and all help.

Could you provide some sort of crash log, for example from logcat?

Or did you send the crash report through the dialog that appeared after the crash?

I have exactly the same problem. After the Anti Theft part of the program has been installed,  I am not able anymore to open Avast => forced closed after a few seconds.

Crash report:

I have also sent the detailed report via the dialog after the crash.

If your logcat seems the same, it will be fixed in the next beta refresh.

I am having same problem. Force close after initial download and scan. When will next beta update be coming? Should I leave it or install to fixed? Thanks

It should update itself when the update arrives at the Market. Can't disclose any particular date right now, sorry.

Seems that the latest update fixed the issue.  Will wait a few more days to determine if it is completely fixed.
