I installed Avast! for Mac Beta, during the first scan and it crashed during the scan (screen became very messy). I powered off my Mac Mini (mid 2010 model with Lion OSX), and tried turning it back on. My Mac Mini powers on but does not load OSX! It simply shows a black screen, and my monitor is not showing a signal. I checked that all cables and wires were attached securely so that is not the issue. Could it be that running avast! has fried the chipset?
Please help.
