how can i stop the message network shield blocked dcom exploit ??? ??? ???

Stopping it will mean that your system will get infected within less than 1 minute!

Use the search option on this board to find out more about it and how you can disable the messages that Avast is showing.

And start using a firewall.

edit: sorry didn't saw he said message there, though he was trying to stop the network shield.

1. Left click the 'a' blue ball
2. Network Shield
3. Customize
4. Uncheck show messages...

It was not so difficult to discover  ;D

Hi Technical   I have the home version and I look at those steps that u said to do but I did not see where u got the 2,3 and 4th step I am a newbie and I was wondering if u can be a little more clear in how u do that after the first step when u click on th a ball  thanks.  When it comes to computers it hard for me to understand those steps.  I look every where pn the grey box.

Hi lava, as an alternative, you could install the 4.5.529 beta release that should have the option to disable the pop-ups simply by clicking a link. Please see http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=9007 for installation instructions.

Thanks Vlk  I will wait for the new release till than I will wait to see I that it was in the latest up date.  That is why I ask the question where those steps where.

This might help a little...

1. Left click the 'a' blue ball
2. Click on "on access protection"
3. Click Details ...
4. Network Shield
5. Customize
6. Uncheck show messages...
