[Solved] Initial Scanning does not finish

Installed on Japanese Smartphone IS05 (Android 2.2.1 installed, not rooted).

Install finished successfully, but initial scanning stops at 38% (or 41%, percentages are different from progress-bar to Notification Manager ::)) and there is no "Stop" button... it already running more than half of an hour.
How to stop it? :(

Uninstalled and reinstalled. Problem persists.
Updated to Android 2.3.4 and scan finished successfully.
Maybe this is an issue with Android 2.2.1. Some other Japanese users seem encounter this issue.

Strange. Mine 2.1 (English) finished ok at virtual environment.
Maybe something wrong with 2.2.x  ::)

Hi,

I'm not sure I can get Japanese 2.2.1 device to test it :( But I have this kind of feeling that this might be fixed in the next beta refresh :) I suppose you can't flash it back to 2.2.1 to test it when new beta arrives, can you?

Right, I can't revert Android to 2.2.1. I'm sorry for that. :(
FYI, scan stops at 15 items ("Scanned item: 14, 8 problems found") no matter what application it is.
I uninstalled some applications when scan stops, but if I run scan again (i.e. after reboot) scan stops at same point.

P.S. I run scan again and avast found no problems. With 2.2.1 it found at least 8 problems ???

Yeah, I think I fixed that problem in the newest virus database so your database got updated already and should be working fine now :)
