after i read about the avast android beta, i quickly checked if you guys might have made an osx version and obviously i discovered your product.
i like it so far, but a few things could be improved.
first, how about you make use of growl and add your own notification system as fallback.
and please scale back on the notifications. i got 5 for my gmail accounts. i changed it to only show alerts, you might wanna make that the default.
oh, and the menu bar icon could be a bit smaller and less distracting.
finally, it might be a good choice to offer avast as .pkg install package, this way it could be updated during install and auto started at the end. sophos does this on osx too. people wouldn't complain that avast didn't launch after a reboot if you did this
