« on: December 12, 2011, 09:48:34 PM »
I asked sometihng like this before but im not sure about this ,

In Avast Free , the maximum update interval is 120 minutes right ?

But why is it set at 240 minutes at default ?

And in paid version of Avast , is it also 120 minutes max ?

Normal VPS release is two times a day.....more if needed....and sometimes there are none
so checking for updates every 4 hour should be enough.....and it also check after every boot

While it's theoretically possible to have two updates within a 120 min. period, it's pretty uncommon with Avast. I suspect that's why it's not the default. Avast simply doesn't update that often. You can set it to that, but you won't really be any better off.
