Can managed BP clients be deployed over managed 4.8 clients?

We're doing a fresh install of BP for one of our clients. They currently are on 4.8 managed by ADNM and only have 9 desktops with 1 server. The plan is to uninstall ADNM, install SBC and deploy BP over the existing 4.8 clients. I'm not sure if deploying over the 4.8 clients is possible. Please make any suggestions you have for this process so it can be as painless for both my client and ourselves.

I've never done an ADNM to BP database migration before so we are going to take the easy route and do a fresh install. This leads me to another question.. How can a simple database migration from ADNM to BP be performed? Any material regarding this would be very helpful.

i have deployed several BPP clients over the 4.8 without problems.
