We decided to rewrite the app to further offer it. The reasons for that were mainly the gradual changes in Android APIs and closing of the platform with each new version of the OS. And also the fact that the app was too difficult to set up and use for most of our users.

So we decided to simplify the app and remove some features. The removed features were either difficult/impossible to support on new versions of the platform or were used only by a very small fraction of our users. We plan to evaluate which Anti-Theft features our users miss the most. If there is a real demand we might gradually add them back.
