true, but that goes for almost any application including Avast.

Well, you guys are talking about something else. Where did I say that I think that my firewall is the best of the best ? I tried these - ZoneAlarm, Outpost and Sygate. I know how those progies works, and my personal preference is Outpost or Sygate, but I never said that ZoneAlarm is "black-listed" product. It' just my personal preference as you a61 said in your previous post.

When I was looking for a good AV I researched, read reviews decided on Avast and I'm not going to change unless it lets me down.  Same situation with Sygate.  I'm used to it, it works and until it lets me down I won't seriously consider changing.
