Hi Pondus,
As you like Crocodiles yesterday at a reptile park (10klm from where I live) Elvis the Crocodile attacked a lawnmower that was being used to mow some grass in the enclosure. Elvis didn't like the noise, the guy doing the mowing got a fright.

Hi Pondus,

Salt water Crocodiles in the north and west of Australia grow to 7meters and weigh 1,000kg.
Big beasts I wouldn't want to come across one of them.

Anyway back to my virus, I clicked on the ignore button and the other box still came up to restart and I did and it scanned my files before restarting but it still hasn't got rid of the notice so every time I turn on the computer it still comes up. Now that we have tried all and Essexboy doesn't think the virus is a problem should I contact Avast with a service ticket and ask them how to get rid of the notification. Or do I just ignore it and turn it off each time I switch on the computer?

regards,

That might be an idea as I have never experienced this problem before so I have no real knowledge about it .... Unless someone else here does

I just found this new botkit scanner from BitDefender. Runs in 1 sec on my PC! Just download and run; no installation required.
