I'm having an issue with a phone that was on the anti theft. I switched Sim cats and now it says it's lost or stolen and because the Sim card isn't in it I can't unlock it with a text... I took the phone off my avast account but it is still doing it and I even set everything to not lock or make sirens

FAQ for avast! Mobile Security
« Reply #64 on: June 03, 2015, 02:22:37 AM »
Hello, I am really looking for some help. I have Mobile Security since a year ago. I have 4 phones on my account that currently work fine, all connected, everything works, last weekend unfortunately one of the phones was stolen, we're on that, capturing data to take to the police, my lucky problem is that my AVAST Licence Expire tomorrow (03/06/2015) so I decided to purchase the new Licence, today, (02/06/2015), I went on my account, click on renew, I thought everything was fine, But I go on my Account, and Still Expires tomorrow, I have an email with a new Licence, Like a Serial, Like the one I originally used a year ago to create my Account.... So? How can I activate that new Licence on my Old Avast Accounts with all my Family Mobile Phones.... What should I  Do? Wait? Put it Where? I'm screwed? ..... Please help me, Anybody, Thanks in Advance....

What is the PIN for disconnecting "Avast" account?
And the one for running "Anti-theft removal wizard?
I am logged in for a long time, and don't remember password.
I can't pair the tablet to the account too, because I would have to download the link of installation.
And I installed it a long time ago.

Hi Galeric, please try to reconnect your new device to my.avast.com, and as soon as you are connected to the account, proceed to restore. We recommend you to do the whole procedure right from your mobile device.

I have some problems operating the Avast Web Shield on my wife's Nexus 5 (its running on Android 6.0.1). AFAIK it should work out of the box with Chrome, but actually it doesn't. Am I missing something trivial? (I have a few other devices that do work with this combination.)

Hi,

you need to have Avast Mobile Security 5.0 and above and manually enable Chrome support in the Settings of the app (comes with some setting up in the Android OS itself since Android 6).
