Migrating from stock rom to cyanogenmod
« on: December 30, 2011, 06:30:11 PM »
I am planning to migrate to cyanogenmod from stock rom. I have avast mobile security currently install. How do I go about it? My phone is rooted and I install avast system device.

1. Do I need to uninstall avast first? If yes how do I go about it?
2. If I just install over, will avast lock my phone?

It depends. If you're using just AV component, then its no problem. If you have Anti-Theft enabled, it will most likely lock it. But since you're the owner you can just unlock it with your pass.
