Still waiting for an answer and a fix and logs  :(

I know it scans because I saw the result from eicar, one app (FP), and exactly three apps (installed or updated) of the about 30. One user on the Thrive forum saw 1 in 4 scanned, much better than mine. Not sure if to use DrWeb, which logs scanned apps, but has no firewall, or wait for the Avast update forever. Please, advise.
Is anyone reading this beta forum anymore?

Hi,

no, I don't read it since we are not in the beta phase at the moment :) We still don't have Thrive so I can't test it by myself, but I hope it will get better in the next version (which I'm sure won't take forever to come :)).

Good news - It works in Beta2. In half a year I saw maybe three "avast scanning" messages. In 3 days on beta I saw over 10 and it's reflected in the counts. Great job Avast!
