Firewall Question

I realize that the firewall is only for rooted devices currently.  I do not have a rooted device, nor can I root it at this point without voiding my warranty on my mobile phone, which I got less than a year ago (I need to wait > 1 year).

My question is does Avast plan on eventually making the firewall for non-rooted devices available?  This would be a great feature and one that is very much needed.  Thank you.

unfortunately firewall can't be done on non-rooted devices due to the architecture of Android OS.

Oh...that's unfortunate.  I guess I'll have to wait. :'(  Thank you for replying. 

Otherwise I really like the features of Avast Mobile Security and I'm recommending them to everyone.  Thank you for all your hard work.
