Suggestions for new features

Let's think about new features..  

 - CC SMS could work also for outgoing SMS.. not only for incoming ones

 - make a screenshot (definitely possible on rooted devices) and send via MMS or email

 - take a photo by the camera silently and send to command sender/ defined email

 - extend existing CC CALLS commands also to outgoing calls - it should work also in case that call is deleted from the call list on the phone

- call recorder
    - be able to record in/out calls and send it to defined email address in compressed format,e.g. mp3 (with option to use only 3G/WIFI etc)

 - log and access web browser history



if these features will be implemented together with planned web interface, avast will beat all the rest

I like that idea better than the SMS system that is there now.  I like the way that lookout does it, but I had to remove that to put Avast on because I just had to have my Avast!

Filip is right - we can not provide a generic solution for this.

not to start another thread, I will add my suggestions here:

• when user installs new app with network access, display notification reminding you about firewall settings, possibly with action directing user to apps details page in avast
• ability to sort apps cording to recently installed, running apps in firewall list
• logs
• for more advanced: option to view iptables

I will add my suggestion for new feature too, but only apply to Cyanogenmod ROMs.

Please add choice to add your Antitheft App into this file during installation:
/system/etc/custom_backup_list.txt

Then it will survive flashing new build. I did it manually on my device and works fine.

Would it be possible to use some features of the Firewall on an UNrooted smartphone?  (when buying an electr(on)ic device in Belgium you get a two year warranty which you loose when tampering with it (I bought my Defy in July 2011)).

I have a suggestion

When a call is blocked, is it possible to change the avast icon to show this. Obviously this would need to be user selectable as not every one will need this feature.

I thought I would add my two feature requests here rather than starting a new thread...

- After an app is installed, I get a notification that the app is being scanned but there is no subsequent notification indicating if the app is safe or not. When AMS notifies me that it is scanning a new app, can it tell me (via an additional notification) that the app is safe (or not)?

-When Web Shield is enabled, can AMS notify me of this when initially launching the default Android browser? That would provide a warm, fuzzy confirmation that my browsing is being monitored for risky sites.
