No restart after reboot?

As far as I can tell, when Mobile Security is active there's an icon on the notification bar on top of the screen and, when pulled down, the notification tab shows a comment next to the icon saying "avast! is protecting you".

Well, I've turned off my phone to simulate a depleted battery, and once it booted up everything that was supposed to be restarted, was.  Except for Mobile Security. I had to start the app manually.

Do you have any other AV on your device?

Have you tried pulling the battery out of the phone, waiting a minute, then reinserting the battery, then boot the phone up to see if this works?

Nope, no other AV installed.

Haven't tried removing the battery, I don't see how that would help. Clean shutdown has the same effect on OS.

It's like a soft reboot vs. a Master reboot where it wipes everything clean.  Give it a try and let us know if that helps.
