Has anyone ever encountered Chrome update failure while running Avast 7.0 Free?
Avast detects the setup stup of chrome as a malware! S
ee attachment, hope the Avast backend team could resolve this.Thanks for the great free antivirus software though!!

yes updated. only way to install chrome update is to disable avast, file system shield temporarily.

then right click the file in chest and upload as False Positive case....

virus database: 120405-1 (i just updated my chrome to latest version: v18.0.1025.151m)

no alerts from Avast file system shield.

did u change any of the default settings of file system shield?
