Just killing a little time and wondering how Avast 7 will be an improvement over 6.  I know Vlk has mentioned that it will address some of the not so great detection rates in recent months, but I was hoping someone with actual knowledge might shed a little light as to what we can expect.

While I know some of the details, I'm not allowed to tell you. Sorry.

If it comes with Windows 8 support (next month when Windows 8 Beta is released to public) then I will definitely try it. I hope we can use Avast 6 license key on it because I still have a few months on the license left (Internet Security)

I believe VLK mentioned that Version 7 will be partially cloud-based according to an interview with CNET. Hopefully that will help increase the detection rates.
