it was not a miss in traditional wildlist... there were few files missed in the extended wildlist, which must be now passed as well to achieve the certification.. and the files were only missed during subsequential rounds of testing due to a maintenance of heuristics.. such side effects are now monitored much better, thus i doubt this will happen again

The best protection in internet is: "brain.exe" ;)

DJBone

+1 and brain.dll  ;)

I would like to laboratory producing antivirus updates are not 2 times a day, and as it is processed like other vendors ... Kaspersky, DrWeb, etc.

If you send files to the labs sometimes takes several days until the sample will add, the response to the virus laboratory at best.

It's just an ordinary user wishes.

As i explained, earlier in my post we do need to improve on Behavior analysis that seems to be a big No No!to avast...Once that is taken care of we are on the top! ;D

The main bug is the Behavior shield works but on auto-decide function doesnt work...

And for normal users these things would be a question and query like it is for me:
On "ask" i dont want any pop ups...On "block" i dont know what it blocks legit or only suspicious behaviour BTW! but it should block suspicious behavour on auto-decide also

:'(
We're seeing WildList Misses in quite some of tests...
Really hope avast 7 can turn this tendency.

Are you still seeing them since this is being better monitored according to Maxx?  ("maintenance of heuristics.. such side effects are now monitored much better, thus i doubt this will happen again")

I would think this should be getting better now that avast is on top with better.

Likewise since Norton failed this is not too troubling seeing that they are having some of the very best detections in valid tests.  But apparently Tech is noticing is as well.

I think you misunderstood my question.  I don't mean seeing anything since the thread began but since the actual test, and avasts more closely monitoring the situation (which I would think they knew of before the thread started).  I don't know how long they have been aware of this and been monitoring it, thus I thought you might be seeing something different (improvement) more recently.  Possibly the test has not been avasts hands long enough to be noticed by users.
