I am having problems downloading Avast home edition.

I have downloaded twice and it leaves me with a http page with an indescript icon and when clicked on will not setup.

I am on an ME operating and using Internal Explorer version 6.

What can be done to get the program to open?

Delete all temproray files, cookies, temporary internet files, downloaded program files etc and try again.

Better is to save the setup.exe file to your disk.
Do you use a firewall? Which one?
