Client Installation Without NetBIOS
« on: March 26, 2013, 04:46:54 AM »
Is it possible to get the clients to install without using netBIOS?

I have looked through the remote install logs and I can see that this is the method that is used initially:
03/26/13 13:30:20:   SIPLT031.superip.local: WNetAddConnection2 \\SIPLT031.superip.local\C$

I'd prefer not to have to enable this on the end computers.

You can generate a package from the console and distribute via a logon script or Group Policy. Many administrators choose to do this method rather than the push from the console.
