AVis stops scanning when there is a virus
« on: November 27, 2004, 05:39:08 PM »
Every time a virus is detected the warning alarm comes on and avast stops scanning untill I come in and move the virus. It has been scanning for 14 hours now. Is there a way I can make the software move the virus by its self so it dosnt stop scanning?

Set Avast to run in silent mode.

Or when the first one is found, select "don't show this screen again", detele, than on the next screen choose delete again.

Silent mode...
Left click the 'a' blue icon.
It will start On-access protection

Click on Standard Shield and then on Customize.
Go to Advanced tab and select Silent Mode and the default answer No.

Do the same for the Internet Mail provider and Outlook/Exchange plugin.

The answer Yes in Silent Mode keeps the virus in the file or into the message (attach).
