Rooting a Droid 3 with Avast

This may have been addressed already but I don't see it. I installed Avast on my Droid 3 ( unrooted ), and if I decide to root do I need to uninstall it and start over or will it recognize the new setup?

Mobile Security's rooted features will recognize the root. Anti-Theft module, however, has some features that are being enabled on install.
