Mine started again straight after that post but if i go look at it in a half hour or so it'll be down again, it does this all day long so im thinking it must be the servers and you's probably get a more stable service over there  ???

I think this just means no new stream updates since the last VPS update.

I noticed that both craig and Logos are using 64 bit computers.
The one I'm on right now is a 32 bit computer.  Wonder if that's where the problem lies ??? If there is one ???

Well I generally see it established, but right now it isn't established (XP Pro), so this is essentially like the WebReb when it was first introduced the backend infrastructure wasn't up to the task.

Since it has been confirmed by avast that this service isn't fully functioning in the beta, it may take some time to get that fully up and running.  For me it is a bonus when it works, but when not working I have the regular avast updates and I wait for it to be resolved. So little point in reporting every time it isn't working, it is working, etc. like the long WebRep it working, no its not yes it is, that was a death of a thousand posts.

I think this just means no new stream updates since the last VPS update.

Maybe it should say: "No Streaming Update received since the last VPS updat."

Or something along those lines. Having just two dashes there confuses users because no matter how you understand tech, you can't understand it. But if it's a short explanation, then that helps a lot.

I do not think it has anything to do with computers OS.

Mine says it is not connected.

Would the avast 7 free version of sandbox & autosandbox conflict with comodo firewall sandbox?

Avast free doesn't have a sandbox, only the autosandbox.

I don't use comodo so I can't answer the conflict possibilities.

How well does it work on Windows XP?    I don't want to install yet another experiment that messes up my operating system.

Also, I do NOT want to install Chrome.   Does Chrome automatically come with it or something?  Let me know if it does, and if it works well in XP, I'll try it out when you get rid of Chrome.

Then wait, as no one can give you a guarantee, we don't know what else you have on your system. The whole idea of a beta is to test for and or identify bugs, so you have to accept that you might find one. So it is about acceptance of risk and that you might have to restore your system to pre-beta state.

If you can't accept that possible risk then wait until the regular release.
