All Shields working perfectly here with Win 7 Pro 32 bits and avast! 7 latest beta.
Same here on Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

This is the new avast gadget....
But I think it is...ehm...a bit long, so I think it would be better in this way or something like this

can some one confirm whether avast 7 has phishing protection. i think that i read somewhere that it has but forgotten where i read it.

it does now, in conjunction with "browser protection", aka web rep.

Yes, I believe it is part of the Browser Protection improvements mentioned in the first post.

thats great to hear as it was something i suggested that avast 7 should have :). It would be interesting to know why avast has not decided to store virus definitions in the cloud and instead stream mini updates. And remote assistance is a great idea.

I just installed Avast 7 Beta 3 free and the installation went well. Unfortunately, I cannot register the program. I filled out the the required form but the program never registered. To make sure that Avast was not blocked, I disabled my firewall.
