no uninstallation of avast

asw clear.exe to uninstall avast is not working in safe mode as well as in normal mode
so how should i uninstall my avast as it is generating message on uninstalling that product file""not found

Hmmm... It worked for me. Which is your avast beta version?
Are you choosing v6 as the landing program to be uninstalled?

my avast version is 6.0.1237 and also it is not updating

Hi,

if you still have problems with program update from the pre beta 7.0.1392 to the new beta 7.0.1396 because of Product file error,  pls download and apply this patch. Turn off self defense first. After then update to the latest 7.0.1396 from avast setup file.
