New key invalid message

Just downloaded new avast 4 and when  entering the Key # into the pop-up menu it tells me key is invalid

Help!!

Try copy/paste from the email you received and make sure there is no traling space.

Did you copy and paste the key or did you type it?

If you copied and pasted, ensure that there is not a space after the key number.

Ensure that your system date (check the system tray clock, double click it) is correct.

Edit: I must improve my typing speed  ;D

Thanks for the info, I opened up the registstration button and up poped the menu to enter the # so I did and it took, sooooo we'll see if it updates for me.
