Notepad on Steroids

Here are some tips to make Notepad more useful.

At first I thought, well it is meant to be a basic note function, for more you can use Windows WordPad or my choice of NotePad on steroids EditPad Lite.

However, as hunt and peck or faster typing with more typos, the voice input would be very handy. 

Not to mention reduction in soelling (spelling) mistakes that have to be corrected. 
Does it do smileys ?

In windows 11, once you've transferred the dictated text to where ever you intend to use it,
place the cursor where you intend to insert your smiley, hit the Windows Key and . (period) and make your selection:

So yes. even inserting custom smileys are easy. 😁

I had a suspicion that was the reason

I don't know if there are any differences in the window 10 versions of Windows PE and that of Windows 11.

I have yet to update to 22.7, or even 22.6.  I now tend to look at what has been updated/changed in these minor incremental updates and is it worth updating.

Of late I haven't been so quick to jump on every new build as I believe too much is getting past alpha and beta and new bugs are introduced.  I look back at the days when I was always on the beta program update stream and really nothing like what is being reported in the forums after new updates.
