The Avast 9 UI is simply not intuitive unlike that of version 8.  If the main purpose of Avast products is to challenge the initiative and patience of the user, something is wrong at Avast.

It looks poor and appears to have been designed to be difficult to navigate.  Avast has lost sight of the point of view of the ordinary non-tech user.
