This build it trying to maintain compatibility with the windows 8.1 beta/public preview or whatever it is called. So it isn't something that is likely to be widespread across all avast users.

Well in Bob's vudeo he claims that it is on The Avast Website, I could not find it but that being said with my experience with past Betas I will pass. Thanks :)

I have to agree with you on this particular video since it was done on the road in a hotelroom
without my usual equipment.
You obviously haven't seen or heard the others. :)

Updating CCleaner from a program update notification.
If the sound is a little different it's because I made this one at our Senior Center
so you'll hear some background noise. I'm also using the built in mike on my old Dell.

So, I installed the new beta for windows 8.1, you cant update the definitions, wont connect to streaming update server., pretty pointless in installing it, don't you think?.

Hi Bob...are you enjoying Windows 8? I have tried it twice (bought a discount key when it was released) but not that comfortable with it. Went back to Windows 7 both times...nice exercise in itself. RR

I'm very happy with Windows 8. The adjustments I made gave me the benefits of Windows 8 with the
familiarity of widows 7.

Maybe your not comfortable with W8 Metro and went back to Windows 7 ;D ;D..........................No problem used ClassicShell for W8 8) ;)
